Perhaps you are a freelancer interested in evening out and growing your income. Design Your Best Business (DYBB) is a workshop designed for entrepreneurs and business leaders who want to grow their businesses more creatively and successfully.
In this dynamic program, you will spend an afternoon designing your best business – a version of it that has the potential to blow your current plans out of the water.
Then, you’ll explore and smash the roadblocks you believe will prevent you from creating that amazing version of your business. You will wrap up the day with concrete actions that you can implement immediately to get your best business off the ground.
All of this while having more fun than you are supposed to at work! Workshop pre-requisites:
• A desire to grow your business
• A sense of humor
** A short video and brief article about Design Thinking, a problem-solving methodology, will be sent as pre-work once you enroll in the workshop.

ABOUT YOUR WORKSHOP LEADER
Elatia Abate is a coach and entrepreneur who left the corporate world to revolutionize the way the world thinks about careers and making money. She works with executives in career transition; entrepreneurs at various stages of business growth and business leaders who want to breathe more life into their organizations.
She has coached and spoken at organizations that include Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions like University of Michigan and New York University and organizations such as the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC). In 2015, she coached the winners of the USHCC Foundation’s At The Table women’s entrepreneurship competition. Her work has been featured in publications like The Wall Street Journal and Fast Company.
Prior to founding her practice, Ms. Abate was Vice President of HR Projects and Director of Recruitment for Dow Jones & Company. She served as Global Director Talent Acquisition at Anheuser-Busch InBev. She is a design thinking enthusiast, as well as a lover of improv comedy and storytelling.
Ms. Abate graduated with Honors in Political Science from The University of Chicago and received her MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
